This weekend, Thing 3 got sick. By sick I mean a huge bloody nose that lasted pretty much all day Saturday, then another that lasted all day Sunday. Sunday afternoon she threw up all over me after she had eaten chocolate ice cream (so at least it smelled a little better than the last time of eggs mixed with peppermint). While I was at a movie, she threw up again on G (and our bed of course). She's got a cough that sounds nasty, she's clingy, grumpy, and has been up the past 2 nights screaming for mommy, coughing (mostly in my face) and bleeding from her nose. Super fun :(

This made me think of starting a new series called "You know your a mom when..."
You know your a mom when....
.... you hear the sounds of impending vomit and you reach out to catch it instead of take cover
.... you allow a little person to cuddle with you when they are sick and literally cough in your face
.... you have the super-power to catch a glass of falling water with the speed of light without spilling a drop

when you will wipe their runny noses on the inside of your shirt.
when they throw up on you in public & you have to turn the shirt inside out because you didn't realize you needed to pack extra clothes for you too.
